During our worship services, opportunities are available for all ages to grow in Christ, make new friends, keep up with old friends, and remove distractions. We offer everything from a well-staffed nursery during all services to Sunday School classes for pre-schoolers through 5th grade. Please register all children in the Children's Wing where you will receive a security tag for you and your child.

The importance of children in worship

At Dardenne Presbyterian Church, we believe that it is vital for our children to participate in worshiping Jesus Christ through song, prayer, and scripture as a church family. Studies show that children who experience and see worship modeled are likelier to stay active in church as adults. Therefore, all children aged 3 (by August 1st) and older will sit with their caregivers in worship and be dismissed to Sunday School. Alternatively, children from birth to 3 years (prior to August 1st) can go directly to the nursery.

At Dardenne Presbyterian, we prioritize your child's safety. We screen all teachers and volunteers through our Dardenne Safe Kids and Youth (SKY) program. We use the latest technology, including one-way window, a secure tagging system for child pickup, and automatic locking doors in the new Children's Wing, along with many other safety features.

Nursery - Early Care

Birth to 3

Sundays 9:00am & 10:30am

After registering, drop your children in the C5 nursery located in the Children's Wing.

Sunday School
(Children 3 years old - 5th grade)

Sundays 9:00am & 10:30am

Children 3 (by August 1st) through 5th grade begin in the church service and are dismissed prior to the sermon.

Children can be picked up in the Children's Wing from the following designated rooms:

- Nursery (Birth to 3) - C-5 Nursery

- Pre-K & Kindergarten - Preschool room

- Elementary - Elementary room

Activities

At Dardenne we offer many activities for children and families throughout the year including our annual Hayride and Bonfire, Advent Program, Easter Egg hunt, Bounce Houses, and more.

Vacation Bible School

Join us for VBS, an action-packed week filled with fun and learning about God! Children ages 4 through 5th grade will discover how to apply the Bible to their everyday lives. Everyone is welcome!
